Use this service to appeal a planning decision.
You can use this service to appeal a planning decision from your local planning authority if the decision notice was issued within the last 6 months.
As a part of major transformation project, the Planning Inspectorate is improving the digital services that we offer. We are currently accepting a small number of appeals via our new submission portal. You'll be asked some pre-quilifying questions to determine if you can use the new portal for your appeal. If not, you'll be directed back to our original appeals caseworker portal. We apologise for any inconvenience while we improve the service.
To access your existing appeals or comments, sign in to your account.
From your account, you'll be able to:
- access documents and evidence submitted by the Local Planning Authority and any interested parties
- submit your final comments on the appeal
- access the Inspector's decision (when published)
